Namaste/Hello! I’m Komal, a UX Designer based in California who cares about creating equitable experiences that uncover the user's needs and showcase their voices!
I thrive amidst passionate curiosity (the ‘why’) and aspire to transform complex systems into elegant simple solutions that empower users to navigate digital landscapes with delight and ease.
I'm all about discovering new worlds, whether it's the world of food, teaching myself a new language (Thank you Duolingo!) or learning about people's stories and experiences, so being able to find solutions through human-centered design will always bring me a sense of joy. I approach each challenge with thoughtfulness and bring a positive attitude and dash of humor to every team I join!
Journey from Software Engineering to User Experience
I’ve been fascinated by the impact of technology on human lives ever since I was a child, and this led me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a role as a Software Engineer at Adobe Inc. In this role I designed and developed Software Systems for over 6 years and also had the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and learn from some of the best minds in the creative and the digital space.
When I’m not designing or coding, you’ll find me doodling (on anything and anywhere possible), looking for my next travel adventure or playing board games.
With my analytical prowess and problem-solving skills I hope to help shape a future where technology serves humanity by creating lasting and meaningful experiences that captivate, inspire, and ultimately make the world a better place.

Collaboration breeds the finest ideas. Personally, I thrive when working alongside others who challenge me to elevate my concepts. By pooling our collective ideas, we can craft something superior to what any of us could achieve individually.

My aim is to assist others and produce meaningful work that holds purpose and significance for my users. I notice a multitude of products and services lacking equity in the market. How can we cultivate improved procedures and experiences that are inclusive and accessible to all?
Meaningful Work
I prioritize innovation and devising fresh solutions to cater to the demands of my users. Sticking to the conventional methods has never been effective in solving problems. Innovation doesn't thrive by adhering to the status quo. It requires taking carefully calculated creative risks in order to truly make an impact.
Creativity
I consistently strive for personal development and continuous learning. Education is an ongoing expedition that extends throughout one's life. It doesn't matter where you begin or what your prior experience may be. What truly counts is the ability to seek answers and possess a genuine thirst for knowledge.
